Delays

“U.S. Probes Boeing Satellite Deal Backed By China,” The Wall Street Journal, January 12, 2019. It takes the government a month to investigate potential leakage of critical satellite technology.

This was the subject of an article on December 5, 2018, reported here earlier this month.

Well, it was the holidays.  It took me a month to report on the initial report.  And the government shutdown.  But don’t Governance and Compliance suggest a quicker response by those in charge, when the information at issue is heavily controlled (in theory, anyway)?  I understand CFIUS having concerns, but is the SEC leading the hunt.  Why?
