Perhaps an unusual model for your information governance program: how prisons control communications by prisoners with the outside world.
“Bureau of Prisons Opens New Investigation Into Martin Shkreli,” The Wall Street Journal, March 9, 2019. Is the convicted felon using a contraband phone to stay in charge of his business while in prison, both with phone calls and Twitter?
All three elements are there, from the prison’s (and our) viewpoint: Information, Governance, and Compliance. Who’s in charge of external communications? What are the rules? What information is controlled? How is compliance measured and enforced? And what is the prisoner using the information for, anyway?
