CEO goes to jail

“Former Coal CEO’s Appeal Turned Down,” The Wall Street Journal, October 11, 2017 A4.  Former CEO was sentenced to a year in jail for safety violations at a coal mine, where an explosion killed 29.  The Supreme Court rejected his appeal.

So, corporate management can be held criminally liable for corporate acts or omissions.  Employees do have a duty not to violate the law.  Employees include the CEO.
