Too much sharing may be a bad thing

Cyber Bill Is Slowed By Privacy Concerns,” Wall Street Journal, March 6, 2015 A4. The draft legislation proposed post-Sony hack to enable companies to share information about potential cyber threats with the government is hanging up over concerns that the same sharing wpould make it easier for the government to watch us.

Do we need an amendment to the Constitution guaranteeing a right to privacy? So far, only searches and such and takings are restricted.  Or would that open up Pandora’s Box? Can that information be sanitized to remove any of “my” data?  Or my private data?  Who owns it?
