How much is that little doggie in the window?

You see something for sale on the web and the price looks good.  But is it?

“Can You Trust That Web Price,” Wall Street Journal, October 23, 2014 B1.  Depending which device you use to shop online, or other factors, you may be paying a higher price or seeing more expensive products than others. Where? Cheaptickets, Orbitz, Travelocity, Home Depot, Expedia, Hotels.com.

All these vendors are apparently using some information to price-differentiate.  As a buyer, how does that make you feel about those vendors?  What does it say about how the vendors see their customers?
