Sludge in the other pipeline

While some have complained over the glacial pace of the Keystone Pipeline review, there’s another pipeline that is reportedly open but for which the flow is restricted.

The pipeline is the Medicaid information pipeline.  47,000 Texans apparently tried to enroll at Healthcare.gov and were told that they qualified instead for Medicaid.  The problem is that the folks in Washington have sent the information for less than 7,500 of those applicants to Texas; half of those were duplicates.  And many of the rest don’t qualify for Medicaid.

If the source of information on which your business depends is not reliable, what can you do?
