Spam in the fridge

The Internet highway is building a lot of on-ramps.

Close on the heels of the Target credit card hack over Thanksgiving comes news that spammers used various appliances, including a refrigerator, TV’s, and wireless routers, to send spam emails from December 23 to January 6. Whose team is your X-box on?  And your wireless home alarm?

Is there a market for security software that covers this? Can it be packaged with the security software on your computer/router?
