The last refuge from solicitations: in flight.

“How Airlines Are Mining Personal Data In-Flight,” Wall Street Journal, November 8, 2013 B1 http://on.wsj.com/16O9suN  Are airlines sharing all that data they collect about their customers and mining it together?  Isn’t that a comforting thought?  Who owns that data?

I guess the EU Privacy Directive doesn’t apply.  Or does it?
